First time here today. Tried the Black Sugar Boba & Pearl Milk with Cream Mousse. Really liked the mini boba pearls. Wish my drink would have had more ice to make it colder.

Squirrel Hill has become the hub of Boba. There seems to be a Boba shop at every corner, not that I’m complaining. This Boba shop is at joining the mango mango restaurant , which I completely adore. I got the classic milk tea Boba and it was good. That’s the problem I have with Boba where it’s very difficult to tell if a Boba is well-made or not. It’s completely different from coffee where you can tell if a coffee is well-made or not. That’s why I don’t know how to think of a Boba place. There is seating inside, if you want to but most people I saw took their drinks outside. You can order on a screen, and then they will call your name when your order is done. Pretty standard. The prices are pretty standard as well. I still prefer Tsaocaa which is couple doors down.

We ordered a large brown sugar bubble tea with cream mousse and got no mousse (please refer to the pictures.) We were rushing to get back so we couldn’t complain about it to the workers in person. Also I’d like to mention that the tea flavor is almost nonexistent. There is a TsaoCaa 20 seconds away from this place so I’d recommend going there instead.

Update: they started serving egg tarts that are really good! Visited during soft opening, the Mango Sago drink was amazing! Also got to try the #2 and it was great!

Initial review, we were there for the soft open. The drink itself was good. I think the space is a little small so it might be a grab-and-go type of establishment. We'll have to try more drinks before I fully judge . Tried the classic brown sugar which was solid but nothing memorable
